One Unfolding Dream

A note to say Hi! I wonder if today’s going to be humid or dry I’ve been up since Five I feel half dead, half alive
Music’s been on, all morning My eyes are finally awakening I had a bath, did my hair Put on make-up with care
Been questioning my day Hoping it will go my way I’m on my way out Doing my running about
I’ll be back to writing you I gots to do what I gots to do I’ll get back to You in a bit So don’t get in a fit
I’m back Now I have to get back on track Where was I? Focusing, I will try
I’m at the Brow Looking again, at the clouds They are white and billowy The sky, blue, birds fly
I’m listening to Nina again Her music, I sustain There is a bit of a breeze I’m sitting on a bench, near a tree
The road is busy Guess everyone is nearby, the Brow they study Enjoying their time Maybe, they’re in their prime
The air is refreshing Looking on, I’m gazing The clouds changing form No sight of a storm
Thinking of my dreams I’m lost again, it seems Do I make new ones? Do I dare? Thinking of one, beyond I stare
Going out with someone Going dancing and having fun Letting my hair down Music, everyone, it drowns
Talking the night away Absorbing every moment, I’d let it stay The conversation tame No accusations, no one at blame
We’d talk about our dreams and goals All the secrets and honesty unfold We’d talk about our hopes We’d laugh and we’d joke
Comfort would be the atmosphere Talking of our fears Maybe share a few tears It would be just the two of us here
This time and moment, we’d endure This time, we’d remember for sure Learning about each other We’d reflect, maybe hug one another
I look down at the ground Seeing bugs fly around I listen as Nina sings Sweat, on my face, in my eyes, sting
To You, as I write The sun on my page, is bright I’ve made mistakes My heart has had its aches
To ponder all this To express through poetry, has been a gift I shall close and leave the Brow Now, that I’m all sweaty now
